The next change to the Ofgem Price Cap will come into effect on 1st July and will be in place until the September review.
This time average bills will drop slightly to £2,074 for a typical consumption dual fuel, direct debit household; compared to the last quarter’s energy price guarantee of £2,500. This is a slight reduction from the winter peak, but is still higher than levels before the energy crisis took hold.
If you are struggling to pay your bills, please contact your energy supplier to see if there are any payment plans they can offer, or hardship funds available to help.
