CAN is delighted to continue offering its ever-popular Slow Cooker & Home Energy Workshops, helping more communities across Northumberland access free, friendly and practical energy advice sessions. We are inviting local community groups and organisations to host a free workshop.
These engaging sessions are designed to help residents save energy, reduce household costs and build confidence around staying warm and safe at home.
The workshops cover:
- Getting the most from a slow cooker, with tips and recipe ideas
- Practical advice to improve home energy efficiency
- Staying safe at home with guidance on carbon monoxide awareness
- Information about extra support available through the Priority Services Register
The sessions are informal, welcoming and tailored to community audiences, making them ideal for Community centres and Village Halls, social groups and community gatherings.
