The Government website for people to apply for energy bill support who do not automatically receive the £400 payment through their electricity supplier is soon to go live for applications. In Northumberland we have been told this will be on 27th February 2023.
Many of the eligible categories listed on the website are of rural households, as well as self-paying residents of care homes and obviously those off-grid. Whilst some in Northumberland have already received £400 from Northumberland Council this does not exclude you from applying for a further £400 from the Government using the link below.
We are expecting details for the Alternative Fuel Payment, a further £200 which those off grid will also be eligible for. We will add details to this website as soon as we have them.
