Ofgem have set the next round of price caps starting on July 1st with electricity to be 25.73 p/kWh and gas set at 6.33 p/kWh.
These new prices mean the annual bill for a typical household on a standard tariff and paying by direct debit will go down by 7%, giving an average bill of about £1,720.
Don’t forget – give your supplier a meter reading during the first week of July to ensure you are being charged correctly.
